The inevitable happened in our household a couple of weeks back…the dark shadow of COVID appeared as part of our regular lateral flow testing. Luckily, we’ve all dodged the worst of it, but 9 days sitting on the sofa doing zero training isn’t ideal. Having taken a leap of faith and following a training plan by MyProCoach, it’s been a bit painful to watch the missed sessions slip by on TrainingPeaks.
On a more positive note, ten days after testing positive and on release day, I’m back up and at it. A nice steady bike ride and a gentle run have both passed without incident. Time to crack on!
